A former female astronaut, who was charged with attempted kidnapping in connection with a love triangle between her, a fellow astronaut and another woman, denied in a lengthy interview after her arrest that she was trying to harm her rival. A space shuttle astronaut has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after she drove 900 miles, wearing a wig, a trench coat and an adult diaper so that she would not have to stop, to confront another woman she thought was romantically involved with a space shuttle pilot. U.S. Navy Capt. Lisa Nowak, 43, has been arrested in Orlando.
